This is probably the Nike-est shoe that I’ve owned in a long time. I did contact Nike about this and they sent me out another pair that didn’t have a squeak so that was good of them.The Nike SuperRep 2 is a HIIT class-specific training shoe. I don’t know if this squeak/crunch is something that will go away after some time, but it’s disappointing nonetheless. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a big guy and these shoes may not be handling my weight or if it’s a common problem with this shoe, but the left side zoom compartment in the forefoot has begun making a kind of squeaking or crunching sound with every step I take whether I run or jog. The second thing that I didn’t like is a similar problem that I had with the previous Nike Superreps, you might be able to guess what it was, but the squeak has returned!.One thing I liked, is the feeling as though your foot is really walled in, in a kind of bubble if that makes sense, when I did things like jumping lunges and jumping down from plyometric boxes, sometimes my foot would land incorrectly and a little off-balance, but the awkward landing on side areas of the foot wouldn’t feel hard, the edges of the sole feel very rounded as though your foot is really protected. You feel it with every step you take, and I would say they are in fact more supportive than the previous Superrep 2 model. The comfort is definitely there there’s no denying that. To answer the question of what the Nike Superreps were like to workout in, I would say, they were just what I would want from a H.I.I.T. What Were the Nike Superrep 3 Like to Workout In? There are other shoes I have reviewed that are a better fit for those sorts of moves like the Metcons. One thing I have to mention is that mainly due to to their heavy emphasis on cushioning and softness, these really aren’t shoes I’d recommend for doing heavy squats or deadlifts in. These are the type of things the shoe is designed to perform well in.

There’s also a plate, that connects the front and the back of the sole, put in to further aid stability, so moves like side lunges which create a whole different kind of stress on your feet should now feel more supported. The shoe is now more shallow than the last one, so you should feel closer to the ground.
  • These are a lot more stripped down than the previous shoe, we’re left with a training shoe that is lighter and less bulky, and should make you feel lighter on your feet when you workout.
